Supernatural Season 15 certainly has a lot of questions that need to be answered. After all, the long-running series is on its final episode and it looks like an old debate about Castiel's name has finally been settled.
For the uninitiated, Supernatural fans have long debated about how Castiel's name is shortened. Although the more popular nickname is "Cas," the show has also teased on it being spelled "Cass" instead. But what is the right way to spell it?
We finally have an answer in Supernatural Season 15 Episode 7 when we get a glimpse at Dean Winchester's phone as it receives a call from Castiel. As it turns out, Dean has "Cass" in his contacts.
It's an interesting detail to confirm considering that "Cas" is the more popular choice. Nevertheless, it looks like the producers actually prefer "Cass" instead.
Although that debate has finally been settled, there's still a lot to look forward to in Supernatural Season 15. For instance, how will Sam and Dean Winchester manage to defeat God? Interestingly, Sam may have an answer as teased in the seventh episode. Sam claims he has seen God's memories and knows that he is weak enough to be defeated.
We're not sure how the Winchesters are going to get out of their current dilemma alive (if they do end up alive anyway). However, there is little doubt that the final season will not disappoint fans.
The next episode of Supernatural Season 15 will air on The CW on December 12.
