Suicide Squad Comic-Con Remix is the Best Trailer Ever for the Worst Heroes Ever

Prepare yourselves for the snazziest three or so minutes of Suicide Squad sneak peeks. Comic-Con is well-known for trailer showcases—and while Wonder Woman and Justice League both rocked on that category—Warner Bros.’ latest showcase just made the days-long wait even worse.

From the cool beats (they got that “remix” right) to the new scenes, you know madness is coming alongside the Squad. Suicide Squad really knows how to bring fun to this side of anti-heroes.

We see a lot of action, especially from Katana’s sword and Harley’s bat. There’s also that glimpse of Enchantress looking less muddy and more magical and mythical. Expectedly there’s a lot of chaos and catastrophe, with Joker in every scene. I’m guessing these are all working towards the war that Amanda Waller is talking about.

The trailer also showcases the beats from the Suicide Squad album. Some of the songs include “Heathens” by Twenty One Pilots, “Sucker for Pain” by Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons, Logic, and Ty Dolla Sign featuring the X Ambassadors, and “Purple Lamborghini” by Skrillex and Rick Ross.

I guess if I have to comment on something about the trailer, it’s the lack of Waller’s snappy-serious one-liners. I’m so waiting for her in the movie.

Suicide Squad opens in theaters on Aug. 5.
