Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker's John Boyega Pens Love Letter to Oscar Isaac

What would you do if you missed a friend? John Boyega decided to go old-school and wrote a letter to his Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker castmate Oscar Isaac in a hilarious new video.

Boyega shared the video on his official Instagram account and it's an obvious tribute to The Crown. Check it out below.

"Please reciprocate my correspondence by the ‘morrow. @starwars press tour continues!!! I need to stop watching the crown!" Boyega wrote.

It's a hilarious video that proves Boyega's pure friendship with Isaac and not surprisingly, Stormpilot shippers can't get enough of it. Needless to say, we're already looking forward to seeing the duo hanging out and having fun together during the Rise of Skywalker press tour.

The bromance between Boyega and Isaac all started with Star Wars: The Force Awakens when Finn ended up helping Poe Dameron. We're glad that this is an awesome friendship that has already lasted several years and could continue long after the end of the Skywalker Saga.

The synopsis for The Rise of Skywalker reads as follows:

"A year after the events of The Last Jedi, the remnants of the Resistance face the First Order once again—while reckoning with the past and their own inner turmoil. Meanwhile, the ancient conflict between the Jedi and the Sith reaches its climax, bringing the Skywalker saga to a definitive end."

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20.
