Hype is starting to die down for Star Wars: The Last Jedi which means that it's time for Star Wars Rebels to once again steal the show (that is, until Solo comes out). We now have an official air date for the next episode, and some episode titles and descriptions tease that we may lose a major member of the Ghost crew.
According to Making Star Wars, Rebels season 4 comes back to Disney XD on Feb. 24. We also get titles and descriptions for episodes 4.10 and 4.11:
4.10 - Jedi Night: The Ghost Crew infiltrates the Imperial headquarters on Lothal to save one of their own.
4.11 - Dume: Reeling from a devastating loss, the Ghost crew rallies together to find a new purpose and resolve.
I'm just speculating here, but judging by the title of Episode 10, I'm going to make a guess and say that it's Kanan who dies in the episode. I think that his character arc is pretty much fulfilled, what with his knowledge of the Force and overall growth; and the rest of the show could be about Ezra coming to terms with his loss and moving forward on his own.
We know that Hera makes it out alive to be with the Rebels by the time of Empire Strikes Back, and I think that Sabine and Ezra are far too young to have "satisfying" deaths on the show. The only other character I think that could die who isn't Kanan is Zeb.
Of course, the loss could be totally different when the episode plays out, but with the show almost ending, a death from Kanan is one of the biggest blows the crew could receive that would raise the stakes up to the point of the finale.
Star Wars Rebels 4 returns to Disney XD on Feb. 24.
