Star Wars: Paul Bettany Wraps His Work On Han Solo

Director Ron Howard just recently announced that Paul Bettany was working on the Han Solo spinoff film, and it looks like his role will be a minimal one as Bettany has already wrapped his work on the movie.

Check out this post from Howard:

We have no idea who Bettany is playing exactly in the movie, but a lot of people are thinking that his character will act as some sort of replacement for Michael K. Williams' who was not able to come back for reshoots due to scheduling conflicts.

A big difference is that Williams' character was supposed to be half animal while Bettany's is a full on human. Williams had also revealed that his character was to have a special connection with Emilia Clarke's character Kura. We have no idea if the same could be said about whoever Bettany is playing.

As of now, Lucasfilm is focused on the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi near the end of the year, but director Ron Howard has been doing some great PR for the movie by giving us little bits and pieces of the Han Solo film week after week. It's definitely a good sign that production is moving forward.

Hopefully Howard is able to deliver the movie on time with Lucasfilm and the audiences ending up happy with the film.

Han Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to come out May 25, 2018.
