Star Wars Galactic Nights is making its way back to Disney's Hollywood Studios this December.
Posting on the official Star Wars blog, Disney lets fans know that it's planning to bring back the special Star Wars event after it gained so much popularity last year. The company intends to open the event on December 16, a day after Lucasfilm's Force Awakens sequel, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, premieres, and it plans to open a bigger and better Star Wars Galactic Nights.
Disney has a lot planned for the special event. Not only will the festivities include fireworks and photo opportunities, but it'll also offer a rare panel discussion about the future of Star Wars-themed fun land, Star Wars: Galaxy Edge.
Here's what the Mickey Mouse House has lined up for fans during the event.
"A Hollywood-inspired gala party, guests will arrive to red-carpet welcome and enjoy an evening of Star Wars festivities, including performances of Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away; stunning fireworks during Star Wars: Galactic Spectacular; a one-night-only panel discussion on the future of the Star Wars-themed land Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge; tunes courtesy of a DJ at Center Stage; Darth Vader and a battalion of stormtroopers marching down Hollywood Blvd.; photo opportunities in iconic Star Wars scenes thanks to incredibly detailed backdrops; encounters with Ewoks, stormtroopers, roaming droids, and more; striking projection effects on legendary park landmarks; the chance to ride Star Tours – The Adventures Continue; and more surprises."
Much, much bigger than last year's event, we're guessing that this year's Star Wars gala party is going to be wild. It's definitely a great way to celebrate the premiere of one of this year's most highly-anticipated films, The Last Jedi.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres December 15, 2017.
