Disney has confirmed the date that fans should mark to see the stories of the well-loved ladies of the Star Wars universe. Star Wars Forces of Destiny will finally come to TV screens on July 3, bringing with it some canon stories for the likes of Rey, Jyn, and Leia, among others.
A new teaser has been released, seen below, and it's a minute-long look at the quiet strength of each of these heroes. There are some quiet and adorable moments, such as that touching moment between BB-8 and Rey. We also see a fierce Jyn Erso, who dares to challenge stormtroopers by throwing a fruit to their faces.
Finally, we also get to see a very down-to-Earth and nostalgia-inducing Leia, who's just as humble as she is powerful. And who can forget Ahsoka wielding a double lightsaber?
Star Wars Forces of Destiny will be narrated by Maz Kanata. Voice actresses who have been linked to their roles, Daisy Ridley as Rey, Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, and Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka among others, will voice their respective characters.
Mark those calendars for July 3 so you can check Disney's YouTube every day at 10:00 a.m. PT, or you can tune in at a later date (or watch it yet again) on Disney Channel on July 9.
