Star Wars: Daisy Ridley Says The Rise of Skywalker Sunset Scene Left Crew Shaken

There is little doubt that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be filled with emotional moments that will move viewers to tears. However, there is one scene that Daisy Ridley claims had a huge impact even on the crew of Episode IX.

Ridley recently spoke to AdoroCinema where she shared details about the scene which she claims is the most exciting moment in the film.

"There was a scene that touched me a lot," Ridley said. "It was our last day shooting in Jordan and the natural light was fading. And it was so exciting."

OK, so what's so special about this scene? According to Ridley, it had an amazing impact even on the people who were filming it.

"It was just a short scene, we filmed very fast, but the crew was shaken in a way I had not seen before. And I thought, 'My God, if this is people's immediate reaction when the scene isn't even ready, imagine what it will be like to see it in the movies, with the John Williams soundtrack and all that,'" she said.

It sounds like a sunset scene on the desert planet that has already been featured in the Rise of Skywalker trailers. Could this mean that Rey will end up back in Jakku or find her way to Luke Skywalker's home in Tatooine? We could soon find out when Episode IX premieres next month.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will finally hit theaters on December 20.
