Star Wars’ Daisy Ridley Brutally Weighs in on Baby Yoda and Porgs

For the past few weeks, Star Wars fans have been trying to choose sides between Star Wars: The Mandalorian's 50-year-old Baby Yoda and Star Wars: The Last Jedi's screechy little Porgs. Now, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker's lead star Daisy Ridley has decided to weigh in on the debate, and it looks like the sequel trilogy's Jakku Orphan is pretty blunt about her choice.

Speaking in an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Showto help promote her new Star Wars movie, Ridley was asked to choose between Star Wars' new cuties: Baby Yoda or Porgs. Sure, the British actress might have come into contact with Porgs in Star: Wars The Last Jedi, but it seems like Ridley would rather much go with The Mandalorian's green child, admitting that she has never been a really big fan of Ahch-To's birds.

"Baby Yoda," Ridley said without any hesitation. "Look, I'm not a big fan of the porgs."

Baby Yoda has been quite a sensation online. Sure, The Mandalorian is supposed to focus on Pedro Pascal's lone Mandalorian warrior, but ever since his appearance in the series, Baby Yoda has taken the spotlight from the mercenary.

Now, the 50-year-old baby has taken the internet by storm, causing a riot with all sorts of memes and GIFs. Disney is sure to have a field day selling Baby Yoda merch to fans because it seems like the fanbase has declared the Force-sensitive child the franchise's most important treasure.

How about you? Which would you choose: Baby Yoda or Porgs? Feel free to post in the comment section below.
