Square Enix's Avengers Project Could Come Out Before March 2020

We're all still pretty emotional about Avengers: Endgame so it's easy to see why fans are hoping to get more information on Square Enix's mysterious Avengers Project. Granted, Nintendo fans have Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order in July to look forward to but other gamers who don't have a Nintendo Switch will want to know more about the mystery game coming to multiple systems.

Though no details have been revealed, Square Enix recently told investors that they have multiple games to release from April 2019 to March 2020, with many fans hoping that The Avengers Project fits into that schedule. Considering how there has been little information released about the game since its 2017 unveiling, we will have to wait and see.

Aside from a quick teaser, fans still don't know how The Avengers Project is going to play. Some reports have claimed that it will be a standard action game similar to something like Devil May Cry, while others are reporting that it could be designed to be like a service game ala Destiny 2 or Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Only time will tell what kind of game The Avengers Project will be like. In the meantime, PS4 fans have Insomniac's excellent Marvel's Spider-Man, while Switch fans can wait for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. Xbox One fans will have to stick with Lego Marvel Super Heroes to get their Marvel fix.
