The upcoming Spider-Man PS4 game, dubbed by Insomniac Games as Marvel's Spider-Man, is one of the most anticipated titles coming to Sony's console. It definitely looks like the best game to feature the wallcrawler, with stellar visuals and fun-looking gameplay reminiscent of the best Spider-Man games. Fans were also surprised to see Miles Morales at the end of the game's first gameplay video and it looks like we'll be seeing more of the Ultimate character.
During an interview with GamesTM (via Comic Book), Bryan Intihar, the Creative Director of the game, revealed that he fell in love with Miles and that the character would play a major role. His relationship with Peter Parker is going to be one of the game's focal points, which should be nice to see.
"Just like MJ can provide a different perspective on the world, I thought Miles and his relationship to Peterbringssomething different."
Intihar also says that people will be surprised with where the game takes Miles, hinting at a bigger role than initially thought. The role isn't known but fans would love it if Miles ends up as a playable character, especially if he gets his spider powers in the game. Insomniac Games already confirmed Mary Jane as playable in certain sections, so Miles could be handled the same.
Marvel's Spider-Man comes out on PS4 sometime in 2018.
