There is little doubt that the sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home will explore a lot of interesting topics considering that the film concluded with a huge shocker. But did it also confirm that Daredevil is finally showing up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

In the Far From Home mid-credits scene, it was revealed that Quentin Beck's associates had leaked footage from Spider-Man's fight with Mysterio to The Daily Bugle where J. Jonah Jameson promptly shared it to the public. Unfortunately, they also altered it to make the webslinger appear to be the bad guy. In addition to that, Beck revealed that Spider-Man is actually Peter Parker.
It's certainly shocking and even Peter himself couldn't help but cry out, "What the f-?!" (Many of us did the same thing, let's be honest). The revelation certainly complicates things for Peter. However, it may have also teased on the possibility that he will be needing a lawyer who has some experience in trying to keep their identity hidden while running around in a red suit.
So what are the chances that Matt Murdock will step in to help Peter Parker in Spider-Man 3? For now, it's pretty slim. After all, the character cannot be used until two years after the cancellation of Daredevil on Netflix. However, as Comicbook.com has pointed out, it's still possible if the third Spider-Man film can be moved to a 2022 release.
The idea of Daredevil showing up in the MCU is certainly a welcome one for Charlie Cox. The Defenders star had previously expressed interest in working with Tom Holland sometime in the future. Hopefully, things will eventually work out so we can see Matt Murdock in action once again.
