Peter Parker’s journey will continue in the upcoming Spider-Man 4. Though the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe movie is expected to tell a new story, different from what the Home trilogy told, it may still feature the same suit Peter donned at the end of No Way Home.

The Spider-Man suit has been one of the most iconic costumes of recent years.

It has seen several iterations, from the black Spidey suit Tobey Maguire wore in the 2007 Spider-Man 3 to Tom Holland’s Iron Spider suit in the 2017 Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Peter Parker to Reportedly Don Familiar Suit in Spider-Man 4

No Way Home featured seven different Spider suits, including the ones Maguire and Garfield donned.

However, if there was one that became the most iconic, it was the suit that Peter created for himself.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Marvel Updates claimed that Peter would wear the same suit he had at the end of No Way Home in Spider-Man 4.

It also revealed that the movie would be set a year after the events of the 2021 MCU film.

The new suit symbolises the end of Peter’s character arc. This will also help him become a hero without relying on Tony Stark’s technology.

After Peter asks Doctor Strange to perform a spell that would wipe all memories of him from the MCU, No Way Home ends with him starting a new life where no one knows who he is.

That said, it’s only fitting that Peter will wear a new suit he made for himself as he continues his journey alone in Spider-Man 4.

Jon Watts Gives Advice for the Next Spider-Man 4 Director

After the end of the Spider-Man: Home trilogy, which tells the story of Peter Parker’s high school life, the next instalment is expected to tell a different story focusing on the Friendly Neighborhood superhero.

Though details about this film remain scarce, the trilogy director Jon Watts advises his successor.

In an interview with Collider at the CCXP in Mexico City, Watts was asked what advice he could give to the future director of Spider-Man 4.

For someone who had directed the Home trilogy from 2017 to 2021, he could only say one thing: never use a rope.

“I have a very practical bit of Spider-Man advice, and I think every Spider-Man director goes through it,” he said. “It doesn't look good when someone is just swinging on a rope.”

The 42-year-old producer added that directing a movie didn’t just mean that they could go in there and “do it all practical.”

It wasn’t just like hiring a stuntman and swinging around, calling these moves “boring.”

“It looks dumb. It looks like a monkey swinging on a vine when you put someone on just a rope,” he continued. “Don't waste your time. That's my advice to the next Spider-Man director.”

So far, Marvel Studios has yet to reveal when Spider-Man 4 will be released.
