South Park: The Stick of Truth is Coming to Nintendo Switch by September

When South Park: The Fractured But Whole was released for the Nintendo Switch, fans were wondering if its superior predecessor, South Park: The Stick of Truth, would come to the system as well. The patience those fans showed is finally paying off, as a Ubisoft financial report has confirmed that the game will indeed be coming to the console/handheld hybrid.

Unlike The Fracture But Whole or the PS4 and Xbox One ports of the acclaimed RPG, the Switch version of The Stick of Truth will only have a digital release. This is a bit disappointing since the other consoles have them in a physical package but that's for a different topic.

Also, pre-ordering the PS4, PC, and Xbox One version of Fractured gave players a digital copy of Stick of Truth so it's a shame that the Switch version never got it as a bonus.

Still, Switch owners who have never played the game are in for a treat. South Park: The Stick of Truth plays like a lost episode of the series, or hell, a full-length film based on the property, with plenty of nice touches that fans of the show will appreciate. The Mario and Luigi-style combat system also keeps the game fun and is arguably better than The Fractured But Whole's solid combat system.
