Sophie Turner Shares Hints About Sansa's Fate in Game of Thrones Season 8

The final season of Game of Thrones can't arrive here fast enough but at least we're getting a few hints about the characters' fates thanks to the stars of HBO's hit show. Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the epic fantasy series, has dropped some hints on how her character will develop in Season 8.

During an interview with Golden Derby, Turner said that she has always seen Sansa as a warrior and that Season 8 will show this manifesting itself.

"I always saw something of a warrior in Sansa that I don't think other people really saw," Turner said. "I always had the feeling that she was learning and adapting, and at some point or another, it was going to manifest itself somehow, and she manifested it into being a warrior. It felt really satisfying when it happened, and I'm really happy where this storyline for her has ended up."

Turner also went on to talk about the high stakes of the final season, and how that will bring more death and gore than ever before.

"Everyone is coming together to fight the impending doom," Turner added. "There's a lot of tension between these little groups, battling for what they think is right. It's Game of Thrones, so it's going to be bloodier and more death and more emotionally torturous than all the years before."

Last month, we reported about how Turner's new tattoo caused many to speculate about the fate of the Starks. But it turns out that it wasn't a spoiler.

Game of Thrones Season 8 is set to premiere on HBO sometime next year.
