Shazam! Star Zachary Levi Wants Wonder Woman To Cameo

Though comic fans may be familiar with Captain Marvel, the general public has no idea who Billy Batson and his alter ego are. With the Shazam! movie in development, star Zachary Levi reveals which DCEU hero he wants to cameo in the movie.

Talking to Entertainment Tonight, Levi says he would love for Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman to make a cameo in the film. He says:

"I think getting a cameo from anybody would be super cool, but I just think Gal Gadot is so effervescent. She has such a charm. And she seems like a really cool broad. Like, she was in the Israeli army. She's a mom. And I'm like, ‘You seem like you're grounded and cool, and you're Wonder Woman, and you rock,'" Levi added. "And I think it would be really funny to have the 14-year-old Billy Batson inside of Shazam that's really awkward around this beautiful Amazonian. I just think that would be really awesome."

With Captain Marvel being a virtual unknown, it would make sense that Levi would want the DCEU's most recognizable hero to make an appearance in the movie. Then again, with Wonder Woman's roots in Greek mythology, it would make sense that she knew something about Captain Marvel and Black Adam.

For now, the only DCEU movie set for a release this year is Aquaman, but hopefully 2019 shows DC making a huge comeback in the box office.

Shazam! is set for a release in April 2019.
