Shang-Chi Starts Shooting This Month?

We have a lot of new heroes to look forward to with MCU Phase 4, and besides Eternals, we're also getting a Shang-Chi movie. Just in, it's possible that the movie would actually start shooting this month; in fact, production could be starting in a week from today.

According to Charles Murphy, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings could start shooting this coming January 10 and continue production until May. Here's the post:

Of course, we have no official confirmation from Marvel Studios yet, and with the business being what it is, things could start changing around without us expecting it. With the movie so deep into pre-production though, a January start isn't too farfetched.

Then again, we haven't gotten that many significant updates from the film. So far, we only know three stars who will be in the film, Simu Liu who is playing Shang-Chi and Tony Leung who is playing the real Mandarin. Awkwafina is also part of the cast, but as of now, we don't know who she's playing.

Personally I have my fingers crossed that they'll do a soft reboot of Iron Fist with this movie. I would love to see Finn Jones Danny Rand make an appearance in the film one way or another. A lot of people may hate on Iron Fist, but I thought that Jones gave the part his all.

For now, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings is aiming for a release on Feb. 12, 2021.
