What Happens in Sengoku Youko?
Sengoku Youko is originally an action, adventure, and fantasy manga series created by Mizukami Satoshi, the same mangaka who worked on Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer and Planet With.
The anime follows surrogate siblings Jinka Yamato and Tama, who strive to save the world from its barbaric roots.
Jinka is an austere sage or sendou, while Tama is a fox spirit. They have a close relationship, but their perceptions of humanity differ.
Along the journey, they meet Shinsuke Hyoudou, who is on a warrior pilgrimage.
He joins Jinka and Tama on their journey to hone his swordsmanship and become stronger.
They eventually meet Shakugan, a spiritually strengthened human, and realize there's more to her katawara form than meets the eye.
They have often messed with Jinka and his group ever since they saved Shakugan from their twisted leader.
As the plot goes on, Jinka, Tama, Shakugan, and Shinsuke meet new characters, whether they are humans, katawaras, or members of the Dangaisyuu, who teach them important lessons.
Surely, there is more to Sengoku Youko that the anime has left unexplored, which is why many are wondering if the underrated anime will get a second season in the future.
Will There Be a Sengoku Youko Season 2? Our Predictions
Unfortunately, fans will have to turn to the manga series to find out what happens to Jinka and the other characters after episode 13, as the series' creator and production staff have yet to confirm Sengoku Youko season 2.
It is suggested to read the manga series because it has already been completed, with 17 volumes in circulation since its inception in December 2007.

With this, if Sengoku Youko receives a second season in the future, there will be more than enough source material for an anime studio to adapt.
