See Deadshot Dole Out Threats in New Suicide Squad Trailer

His name should’ve been a disclaimer: don’t threaten the one who can shoot you dead. From apparently, as far as 4,000 meters.

The newest Suicide Squad extended trailer features Will Smith’s character in the upcoming DC anti-hero group film. In the trailer, we see Deadshot’s rather aggressive and anger-management-needing character.

Also known as Floyd Lawton—but better not call him that, if you aren’t his friend—Deadshot basically doles out threat after threat on his authorities in the Suicide Squad.

True, the chow that the guard serves him isn’t exactly that inviting. So of course, Deadshot threatens him from behind bars. I love that he can deliver straight lines that are actually funny.

Deadshot doesn’t do well to being threatened either, so I would want to see what happens next when what appears to be a soldier threatens him. That “I’m gonna get you” look and gesture—it has Smith’s charm written all over it.

You can see some of the other Suicide Squad members, Katana and Diablo, in the Trailer. Amanda Waller looks just as menacing. All you can do is stare when she says, un-ironically, if I may add “Let’s have some fun.”

Suicide Squad stars Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Cara Delevingne, Karen Fukuhara, Jay Hernandez, David Harbour, and the expected Batman cameo from Ben Affleck. It will be out in theaters on Aug. 5.
