Scarlett Witch Actress Criticizes Heavily Photoshopped Avengers: Infinity War Magazine Cover

Marvel's been pretty busy adding steam to Infinity War's marketing campaign. Not only has the studio been rolling out a slew of new images and interviews, there's also been a shower of new magazine covers adding the hype for the first installment in its two-part Avengers movie.

However, while the new magazine covers for Infinity War did manage to get fans excited for the film's different team-ups, some couldn't help but notice that Empire Magazine's digital enhancement of some of Marvel's stars might have been too heavy.

Scarlet Witch actress Elizabeth Olsen didn't miss the heavy editing either. Taking to Instagram, the actress posted the cover which featured her character along with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Drax (Dave Bautista). She then subtly asked fans whether Empire's digitally enhanced Wanda looked in any way like her and many went on to agree that the magazine's editing was just too heavy.

Check it out down here:

Digital enhancement has always been an issue in the industry, but to have an editor cut away parts of Olsen's face just looks too much. There are also issues with the way the graphic editor added in Captain America's face too. Guess whoever was hired to do the shoot just did too much with the photos.

Here's the synopsis for Infinity War:

"Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet -- the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment."

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27.
