Ryan Reynolds Shares Some Mock-Up Posters for Deadpool 2

Before we get a look at a movie's official posters, we usually get some sort of mock-up by online artist BossLogic. BL has some spoof posters for Deadpool 2, and Ryan Reynolds actually liked them enough to share them himself.

Like he admits on the post, these were actually parody posters for Reynolds' other movie, The Hitman's Bodyguard, but BossLogic has repurposed them to be for Deadpool 2. Just like the official posters are parodies, these two pieces actually spoof films The Last Action Hero and RoboCop.

Judging by the nature of the first Deadpool movie, we should be in for more 80s pop-culture references when it comes to the sequel. We do know that Deadpool's swords have been nicknamed Bea and Arthur (in regards to Golden Girl Bea Arthur) and we should probably get more of Wade's obsession with George Michael and Wham!.

Originally set to come out in June, Deadpool 2 is confident enough to compete this May with the likes of Avengers: Infinity War and Solo: A Star Wars Story. Though rumors did come out of test screenings going badly, they have since been debunked and everyone is more excited than ever to see Deadpool hit theaters again.

Deadpool 2 comes out May 18.
