Ryan Reynolds For Real Broke the Cerebro Prop in Deadpool 2

Deadpool 2 included a scene where Wade Wilson lived in the X-Mansion and was playing around with the Cerebro prop—before it actually broke. Funny thing is, Ryan Reynolds actually broke the prop for real on the set.

This was revealed during the commentary track for Deadpool 2 (via ComicBook). Director David Leitch said:

"It always appealed to us, the idea of him misusing Cerebro essentially, not knowing what it's actually for.

Reynolds himself replied:

"That was an actual accident on the day… I didn't mean to do that at all. It just snapped."

Leitch also revealed that the prop that was broken was actually from the archive of X-Men props, and Reynolds joked that he would be getting an angry letter from Patrick Stewart (Professor X) soon.

Like every other superhero movie, Deadpool 2 was filled to the brim with Easter Eggs, and I won't be surprised if more are discovered after the home release. What's cool about the Deadpool films is, they try to make more comic-accurate representations of the characters, even going so far as to completely reboot character's we already met in the ‘main' timeline.
