Rumor: Aquaman Trailer Could Come Up Online Soon

Aquaman is the only DCEU movie set to come out this year, but we still have no look at the trailer at all. Rumor has it though, that the trailer could come up online soon, and it had already been screened at CineEurope.

The news comes from the Aquaman Shrine on Twitter:

Some fans had been clamoring for a trailer earlier in the year, but director James Wan said that he was holding out because none of the CGI was ready for public viewing.

Hopefully Aquaman doesn't start marketing too late though, as late marketing is what people are blaming for Solo: A Star Wars Story not doing so well in the box office. You can't expect everyone to get hyped up enough for a movie that you only started marketing two months before release.

The DCEU may have taken a backseat as of now, but hopefully Aquaman will put it back on track. With the more kid-friendly stories of the MCU, I actually liked DC's more dark and realistic approach. Let's just hope Aquaman manages to pull it off without the messed up narration of Batman v Superman.

Catch Aquaman in theaters Dec. 21.
