Robert Downey Jr. Wants This Racy Twist For Spider-Man: Homecoming

In Captain America: Civil War, we were introduced to two new members of the Avengers – Black Panther and Spider-Man. Naturally, to develop these characters properly in the movie, audiences were also introduced to their parent figures – T'Chaka for T'Challa and Aunt May for Peter Parker.

Clearly, these figures in the lives of our heroes provide guidance and support, much more so for Peter's Aunt May. It would be awkward seeing that parent figure hitting it off with a fellow Avenger, but Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark doesn't care much for sensibilities and boundaries. He found Peter Parker's Aunt May, played by the lovely Marisa Tomei, "unusually attractive," and he isn't hiding it from Peter.

Now, Downey Jr. is also not hiding from fans about how much he's into Aunt May with a new status update on his Facebook page.

Providing some boost for Spider-Man: Homecoming marketing, the 51-year-old actor posted a photo of a Spider-Man comic book cover with an older Aunt May together with Tony in bed. He captioned his status with "Auntie May I?"

Take a look:

Obviously, it's highly unlikely that Marvel would choose to take this route with Aunt May and Tony's relationship, but I don't doubt it if fans would support Tony's efforts either. I would rather prefer seeing Tony flirt with Aunt May, as it will definitely provide much wanted comic relief in Spider-Man: Homecoming, although a lot of problems for poor Peter.
