There is no shortage of fan art paying tribute to Avengers: Endgame on the internet. However, one awesome illustration had the honor of being shared by Robert Downey Jr. since it shows Iron Man also paying tribute to Jordan Peele's Us poster.
The fan art was created by Bosslogic as part of a series of illustrations showing the characters from Endgame doing their own version of the Us poster. The most recent one done by the artist features Tony Stark in his full armor and it was immediately shared by Downey on his official Instagram account. Take a look at the image below.
Downey was clearly impressed with the artwork and he even had an awesome message for Bosslogic. "Keep up the good work," he wrote, adding the hashtag #kid.
It's certainly fitting that Iron Man is the last Us-inspired Endgame artwork that Bosslogic released. Fans are already expecting Tony to be the one character who will play a major role in the fourth Avengers film. Could Iron Man ultimately sacrifice himself and ensure the safety of humanity? Will he be the one responsible for bringing back everyone that fell victim to Thanos' snap in Avengers: Infinity War? The truth will be revealed this April.
People were initially concerned about Tony when the first trailer showed that he was almost out of air in the Benatar. However, the Endgame Super Bowl 2019 TV spot also confirmed that Tony and Nebula will be doing everything they can to fix the ship and perhaps find their way back to Earth.
The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:
"After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos' actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store."
Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26.
