Rick And Morty Co-Creator Justin Roiland Is Making A New Alien Comedy For Hulu

Rick and Morty fans are definitely in for a treat. Not only has Adult Swim order for 70 more episodes of everyone's favorite brassy science-fiction comedy animated series, but it looks like Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland is cooking up something new with executive producer Mike McMahan.

According to a new report by Deadline, Hulu has just ordered Roiland and McMahan's new alien animated comedy series Solar Opposites. Featuring a "family of aliens from a better world who must take refuge in middle America," fans are going to love seeing whether or not Solar Opposites' alien family find their new experience living life in the US "awful or awesome."

As in Rick and Morty, Roiland is also set to voice act in the upcoming Hulu alien comedy, taking on the characters Terry and Korvo. Roiland is set to join other voice actors like Sean Giambrone who is set to play Yumyulack and Mary Mack who's going to play Jesse.

While fans might worry that Roiland might be taking on too much knowing that production on Rick and Morty usually takes a while, we're definitely excited to see what the animator has in store for everyone with this new show.

Solar Opposites is set to have a 16-episode run for its first season and the series is set to premiere sometime in 2020.
