Ready or Not Trailer: Samara Weaving Plays A Twisted Game of Hide and Seek

Last year, the dark comedy Game Night mixed mystery and fun in twisted ways, but it looks like this year's Ready or Not will take the danger to the next level.

Fox Searchlight has released a new red-band trailer for Ready or Not and reveals a lot of deadly footages of the twisted game that the young newlywed bride joins to be a part of her husband's rich and eccentric family.

Ready or Not looks like the trailer revealed too much about the film's plot, and it looks more like a dark comedy than a serious thriller.

Synopsis:

READY OR NOT follows a young bride as she joins her new husband's rich, eccentric family in a time-honored tradition that turns into a lethal game with everyone fighting for their survival.

Ready or Not was directed by Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, with Samara Weaving, Adam Brody, Mark O'Brien, Andie MacDowell, Henry Czerny in the cast.

Ready or Not is set to release in U.S. theaters on August 23.
