The chairman of Queens Group and the patriarch is Hong Man-Dae (played by Kim Kap-Soo), a widowed man whom many fear because of his influence. He plays Hong Hae-In's (played by Kim Ji-Won) grandfather.
Man-Dae has a girlfriend named Moh Seul-Hee (played by Lee Mi-Sook), who we perceive as a quiet yet cunning woman.
Man-Dae's only daughter, Hong Beom-Ja (played by Kim Jung-Nan), believes Seul-Hee was responsible for her mother's death.
Man-Dae has three children: Beum-Jun (played by Jung Jin-Young), Beom-Ja, and Beom-Seok (played by Park Yoon-Hee). Beom-Ja is also known as the "leopard aunt" or crazy aunt that fans love.
Hae-In's father is married to Kim Sun-Hwa (played by Na Young-Hee). Together, they have Hae-In, Hong Soo-Cheol (played by Kwak Dong-Yeon), and a sibling who had died.
Soo-Cheol is married to Cheon Da-Hye (played by Lee Joo-Bin).
Queen of Tears Family Tree: Meet the Baeks
On the other hand, we've got the Baeks, Hyun-Woo's (played by Kim Soo-Hyun) family. Unlike the Hongs, they are a middle-class family who live a humble life away from the city.
Hyun-Soo's dad is Baek Doo-Gwan (played by Jeon Bae-Su), who is running for a seat in their community.
He is married to Jeon Bong-Ae (played by Hwang Young-Hee), a simple woman yet a loving mother. She knows when her son is troubled.
Hyun-Woo has two older siblings: Baek Hyeon-Tae (played by Kim Do-Hyun), who runs a boxing gym, and Baek Mi-Seon (played by Jang Yoon-Ju), who has a beauty salon.
Mi-Seon has a son named Baek Ho-Yeol (played by Kim Dong-Ha).
