Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Are Twice As Long As The Originals

Pokemon UltraSun and Ultra Moon went from being two games fans would groan about to something people are actually looking forward to. The number of new features introduced impressed those that were originally down on these 3DS games so it seems like these two games can do no wrong. As if that wasn't enough, an interview with Famitsu (translated by Gematsu) revealed that these games will be twice as long as the originals.

With new worlds and areas to explore, not to mention the usual amount of catching and raising Pokemon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon's story will be twice as long as the original campaign. It should interest gamers who like lengthy campaigns, especially since the original Sun and Moon already had a decent length. As if that wasn't enough, Game Freak has also confirmed an extra episode that becomes available after entering the Hall of Fame.

The story in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is a reimagining of the first game, with a focus on the legendary Pokemon Necrozma and the Ultra Recon Squad. Fans won't be experiencing the exact same story from the first game, though familiar characters like Lillie, Hau, and Gladion return with more interesting roles.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon come to the 3DS on November 17.
