Pokemon The Movie: I Choose You Gets Its First Epic Trailer

The dubbed version of Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You finally has its first full trailer.

Posted on The Official Pokemon YouTube Channel, the video running for about a minute and a half shows fans Ash's electric introduction to Pikachu in Professor Oak's house and a few scenes from the two's journey across a number of regions as they struggle to find the Legendary Pokemon, Ho-Oh.

Not only does the clip show Ash coming across powerful Pokemon like Ho-Oh and Entei, but the trailer for Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You also shows the trainer making new friends like Sorrel and Verity. Joining ash in his journey with Pikachu, the two seem to fill in the hole for Broke and Misty in this new Pokemon movie. During his travels, Ash also comes across some of his old Pokemon friends like Charmander and Butterfree.

Ash and Pikachu's journey isn't all fun and games though. Not only do the two come across challenging trainers, but the pair also manages to make an enemy out of the Mythical Pokemon Marshadow.

Here's a short description of the video:

"From Kanto to Alola and everything in between! For over 20 years, the adventures of Ash, a young Trainer from Pallet Town, and his best friend Pikachu have been captivating audiences around the world. Experience the adventure that started it all in Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!, in theaters November 5 and 6."

Though Pokemon The Movie: I Choose You seems to be "out of the continuity" of the franchise, it's exciting to think about what kind of changes the film is going to bring in this retelling of Ash's story.

Pokemon The Movie: I Choose You will release in a few selected theaters on November 5 and is speculated to air on Disney XD sometime after that in 2017 or 2018.
