Pokemon Home Lets You Transfer These 35 Pokemon to Sword and Shield

Pokemon Home has been out for a day now and fans seem to be okay with thus far, mostly because it lets them bring some of their favorite Pokemon into Sword and Shield, assuming they weren't there before. While the jury is still out on this app being a good thing all around, fans are happy (for now) about getting Bulbasaur, Rowlet, and all of their favorite Pokemon that were originally excluded from Sword and Shield.

It's the little things in life, you know? Hot fudge sundaes, comfortable shirts, and Dynamax Bulbasaurs. What more could you want?

Anyway, fans will be happy to know that 35 more Pokemon can be transferred into Sword and Shield, all of which weren't included before. These Pokemon will likely be included in the upcoming expansion pass, hence their early availability here. Thanks to Serebii, we know all 35 Pokemon that can be transferred to Sword and Shield.

Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, Mewtwo, Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Rowlet, Dartrix, Decidueye, Litten, Torracat, Incineroar, Popplio, Brionne, Primarina, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, Marshadow, Zeraora, Meltan, Melmetal.

While no one is looking forward to the monthly/yearly pay that this service will eventually require, the fact that there is a free period should be enough for players to get some of their favorites and leave. Then again, there are some Mystery Gifts teased for players so that might convince a good number of people to stay and, eventually, pay.

Pokemon Home is now available on mobile devices and Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Sword and Shield are now available on Nintendo Switch.
