Ant-Man actor Paul Rudd recently shared a discouraging update on his MCU return as fans are looking forward to seeing more of the hero in the future.
Following the underwhelming box office performance and disappointing critical reception of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, there have been questions about the future of Rudd's beloved hero in the MCU.
So far, Marvel Studios remains mum on the details surrounding the hero's future in the MCU post-Quantumania or any plans for another solo movie.

Paul Rudd Has No Idea About His MCU Return
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter during the red carpet premiere of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Rudd was asked if there are any plans for his return as Ant-Man in the future.
He responded by saying that he had "no idea" and he redirected the question to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
"I have no idea. I don't know. Yeah, that's not for me to answer, you'd have to go to Kevin Feige and those guys," Rudd said.
There is no doubt that this is disappointing news for fans since they are hoping that there would be at least a plan in mind for Ant-Man to make an appearance in another MCU project.
Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case and perhaps Marvel Studios is reassessing their plans for the character following the disappointing reception of Quantumania.
It is likely that we will be hearing some news in the coming months once Marvel is ready to announce their plans and figure out what they'll do with the characters whose films did not pan out the way they hoped.
