Even with only one season under its belt, One Punch Man is considered by many to be one of the best action animes ever made. Thanks to beautiful animation and witty writing, the show has managed to stay interesting, even though the concept sounds like a joke that could get old easily. This is why fans have been so impatient for the second season, which still doesn't have a proper release date.
While news on a release date hasn't been made, it looks like we could be getting a new trailer soon. The official One Punch Man Twitter has announced a special event for the anime. Nothing is known about the event yet, aside from the fact that it will take place on August 12.
Now, they would not make an event for the anime without something special planned. There is a good chance that we will see the first footage of the second season in this event, which will likely be in the form of a trailer.
Everyone is also hoping for a release date of the second season but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
