Fans who have been hoping to check the official Avengers: Endgame website are in for a surprise. Deadpool has found a way to troll people who are trying to look at the domain AvengersEndgame.com.
People were undoubtedly expecting Endgame to have an official website as soon as the film's first trailer was released. However, anyone who tried checking for AvengersEndgame.com was somehow redirected to the official website for Once Upon A Deadpool.
It's a brilliant and hilarious marketing ploy that embodies the spirit of Wade Wilson. However, the domain doesn't belong to 20th Century Fox. It reportedly belongs to Twitter user @AGuyInChair, who wants to sell the site to Marvel Studios in exchange for tickets to Endgame.
"I own avengersendgame.com and avengersendgamemovie.com. But I don't want them. I want to trade them for tickets to the #AvengersEndgame premiere in LA. A guy can dream, can't he?" he wrote.
It's still unclear whether the Twitter user is also in on the joke or if he is serious about selling the sites to Marvel. Either way, it's great to see that Deadpool is still up to no good.
The PG-13 cut of Deadpool 2 will reportedly feature new footage that was not included in the theatrical release. In addition to that, former child actor Fred Savage will make an appearance after being kidnapped by the Merc with a Mouth so Wade could tell him a bedtime story. Judging from the movie's hilarious trailers, Savage should change his last name to "Absolutely Barbaric" with the way he throws shade at Deadpool.
Once Upon A Deadpool will premiere on December 12.
