Official Star Wars Twitter Confirms Solo Fan Theory

It seems like fan theories are getting smarter these days, as the official Star Wars Twitter has now confirmed one for Solo: A Star Wars Story. While the movie was a disappointment at the box office, fans seemed to have enjoyed it and are hoping word of mouth helps it do better. This confirmed fan theory won't put butts in seats, though it will amuse many.

Spoilers for those that haven't seen Solo: A Star Wars Story

Later in the movie, Lando is forced to upload the consciousness of his droid friend L3-37 to the Millenium Falcon, which has lead many to believe that it is now the "mind" of the iconic ship. The official Star Wars Twitter confirmed this by sharing an image of C3PO from The Empire Strikes Back when he commented on the ship's peculiar dialect.

This is a really interesting revelation since fans didn't really think about this scene until they saw Solo. It was a neat scene and does add more relevancy to these Star Wars prequels, which a lot of fans would like to see. Hopefully, we get more of these scenes in the near future, though an over-reliance of these might make fans roll their eyes each time.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is now showing in theaters.
