New The Punisher Season 2 Teaser Reveals Frank Castle's Mystery Woman's Fate

If you've seen the first trailer for The Punisher Season 2, you're probably wondering about the woman who gets frisky with Frank Castle in the series. Interestingly, the second trailer for the show has just confirmed the mystery woman's fate.

The trailer opens with Frank (Jon Bernthal) talking to the bartender at a bar who asks him, "So what brings you here?" He's being coy, "Just passing through," he says. She's impressed with the answer. "Well, you got the man of mystery thing down, I'll give you that."

The flirtation doesn't last very long. We later get the scene where Frank and the bartender are getting frisky. However, his words are less than comforting. "Any time I try to be something different, that's when the wrong people get hurt," he says. Not surprisingly, the woman soon finds herself on the wrong end of a shotgun as Frank desperately tries to save her. Needless to say, this interaction probably won't last past the first episode.

The teaser still shows us Frank in his own element, hurting people who may or may not be responsible for the woman getting killed. "You're out of control," Dinah Madani (Amber Rose Revah) tells him. However, he isn't having any of it. "You ain't got the stomach for this, you just walk away," he fires back.

The second trailer once again confirms that Billy Russo (Ben Barnes) will be out to get Frank and it looks like the two are set for another showdown. Will Frank finally do what he was unable to in the first season? We'll find out for sure this Friday.

The mystery woman in the trailer looks a lot like The Man in the High Castle star Alexa Davalos. However, the actor's casting has not yet been confirmed. Perhaps we'll get the confirmation once the second season premieres.

The Punisher Season 2 will air on Netflix on January 18.
