New Star Wars: The Last Jedi Details May Have Revealed Major Spoiler on Finn's Role

More rumors about Star Wars: The Last Jedi have been spreading online lately, and the insiders at Making Star Wars are going hard at the rumors this week, and the latest reveal is about Finn's role in the sequel. Warning: Major SPOILERS ahead.

The latest report about Star Wars: The Last Jedi details a major scene fro Finn (John Boyega), recovered from his fight with Kylo Ren on Starkiller Base, and how he'l use his experience with the First order to give advantage to the Resistance. The sequence shows Finn wearing a First Order officer's uniform, and infiltrating a new First Order Super Star Destroyer. When he meets from his past (which the site speculates to be Tom Hardy's stormtrooper cameo). It seems that news of FN-2187's betrayal didn't and the events at Starkiller Base didn't spread across the First Order than we thought. Instead, Finn gets congratulated by the stormtrooper on his promotion within the First Order.

The scene involves planting explosives along the Super Star Destroyer, over the red planet that's likely to be the First Order's primary base. Based on the site's descriptions, the Star Destroyer is a new First Order model that looks massive with dark wedge and no outcroppings. The major command modules seen on the Empire's Star Destroyers are gone. The one seen in The Force Awakens had a shorter top section.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be hit theaters on December 15, 2017.
