Veterans of the Tomb Raider franchise know Lara Croft as a badass adventurer who can pretty much take on any challenge but when the 2013 reboot was released, fans were introduced to a young adult survivor who's thirsty for knowledge. The next chapter of Lara's rebooted journey continues to show her evolution and how she becomes "one with the forest."

During Square Enix's E3 conference, a new trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider was revealed. It featured a cinematic scene with Lara crashing into a jungle then we get to see gameplay footage showing off Lara's stealthy skills and how she is able to blend into the forest. The deep combat and the graphics of the environment look impressive. It looks like Lara is no longer struggling to survive. The game will be more interactive than the two previous Tomb Raider titles as Lara can do rappelling, wall-running, and full 360 underwater swimming.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is set to release for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4 and Xbox One on September 14, 2018.
