New Look at Harley Quinn's Roller Girl Outfit from Birds of Prey

The Suicide Squad may have already started shooting, but we get to watch Harley Quinn next year in February's Birds of Prey. Just in, Warner Media has released a video called their Diversity and Inclusion Interim Report, and it has a set photo of Margot Robbie and director Cathy Yan.

We don't really know when Harley will be wearing this outfit, but some earlier set photos have confirmed that she would be trying to chase down Black Mask's car on roller skates. We don't know when we're going to get a full teaser out online, but hopefully, we get it soon, because February isn't too far behind. Hopefully, something gets released sometime next month, around the release of Joker.

Going back to diversity though, it's worth noting that Birds of Prey's director Cathy Yan is the first Asian woman to direct a comic book film and the first to have an all-woman team-up. We don't know what to expect yet, but hopefully, it won't be as male-gaze-y as Suicide Squad. I mean, Harley looked great, but it probably wasn't practical for her to wear hot pants during a mission to eliminate aliens.

After splitting with the Joker, Harley Quinn joins superheroes Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to save a young girl from an evil crime lord, Black Mask in Gotham City.

Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) comes out Feb. 7, 2020.
