New Leaked Image Suggests That Snoke’s Base In The Last Jedi Might Be A Death Star

The Resistance might have successfully put an end to the First Order's Starkiller base in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens, however, a new leaked image of a Star Wars playset seems to suggest that Supreme Leader Snoke might have a new Death Star when he returns in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Posted on Reddit under the Star Wars Merch Thread as "Snoke's ‘Lair' with throne room," the leaked image of the Star Wars toy shows Snoke in his base. Spherical in shape, the lair seems to share the same design as the Death Star with its shape and its dark floors.

Though The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson hasn't confirmed the appearance of a new Death Star for Snoke or even a Starkiller Base 2, it's possible that The Force Awakens sequel could have the First Order's supereme leader hiding out in a moon-sized base. After all, the Empire did manage to create Death Star II after the first Death Star was destroyed in The Battle of Yavin. Lucasfilm's sequel trilogy could do the same thing to by either producing a new Death Star, or a Starkiller Base 2. Let's wait and see.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits cinemas December 15, 2017.
