New Lady And The Tramp Photo Puts The Focus On Paw-some Couple

We've already seen the adorable furry stars of Lady and The Tramp. However, a new image shows the titular characters on the cover of the latest issue of Disney Twenty Three.

The new picture was shared by the official D23 Twitter account. Check it out below.

Lady and the Tramp will feature Thor: Ragnarok actress Tessa Thompson as the voice of the sweet Cocker Spaniel. The dog herself is portrayed by a pup named Daisy. Lady's partner Tramp is voiced by The Leftovers' Justin Theroux while the pooch is played by a rescue dog named Monte.

The Fall 2019 issue of Disney Twenty Three will also feature an interview with Thompson and Theroux, who discuss what it was like to work on the reboot of the beloved 1955 animated classic. It also reveals that all of the dogs who played the characters in the live-action remake were rescues who eventually found their forever homes after production.

Lady and the Tramp is directed by Charlie Bean and also features the voices of Sam Elliott as Trusty the Bloodhound, Ashley Jensen as Jock the Scottish Terrier, Janelle Monáe as Peg the singing pooch, and Benedict Wong as Bull the Bulldog.

The new series is expected to have a major presence at D23 later this month. Hopefully, we'll get the first trailer for the show at the event. Stay tuned for more pup-dates on this story.

Lady and the Tramp is expected to premiere on Disney+ on November 12.
