New Episodes of Pokemon, Digimon Adventure, and One Piece Get Delayed Due to Coronavirus

If you were relying on the current anime landscape to entertain you for the majority of this big Coronavirus period then we sure have some bad news for you. Pokemon, Digimon Adventure, and One Piece will have their new episodes delayed due to the Coronavirus, with all three of these shows now on hiatus. This is going to be a huge blow for anime fans since Pokemon and One Piece are some of the most popular franchises out there while the Digimon Adventure reboot has been incredible for its first three episodes.

The hiatus for each of these anime were announced by their official Twitter accounts so you know that this is no joke. It's going to be kind of surreal seeing One Piece on hiatus since that anime (and manga) has been consistently releasing new installments every week. Fans wish that they would go for a multiple seasons approach so that the show can have better animation but it can't be helped. At least the fights are awesome.

Pokemon is on a similar boat since the anime has been a constant presence on anime television so seeing this series on hiatus is also going to be quite shocking. This comes not long after Pokemon Twilight Wings Episode 4 was delayed so that's another bummer to add. It's a shame since fans have been really digging Ash and Gon's adventures.

Digimon Adventure is obviously the biggest victim of this hiatus since we're only three episodes into this show and everything has been pretty great thus far. Seeing Matt and Tai meet each other in this entirely new setting has been fun to watch so it's going to be downright painful not watching any new episodes for a while.

Hopefully, all three anime shows recover soon. Follow their social media if you want to know when they will be back on the air.
