One of the reasons why people are so excited about the D23 Expo 2019 is the possibility of getting some updates on Black Widow. Interestingly, some new set photos have surfaced and it looks like Scarlett Johansson will be getting a completely new suit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick.
The images were shared on Twitter by @goshromanoff and appear to show Johansson on the set of Black Widow. The Avengers: Endgame star seems to be wearing a new grey suit as she walks around the set and lays down on the ground for a scene. Check it out below.
It certainly looks like a different suit but we're not quite sure if the pictures actually show Johansson. There's a possibility that the images have captured her stunt double
The photos appear to be taken from the same set that was previously reported to cover a major action sequence. There are speculations that it's the same scene where Natasha takes on Taskmaster and brings down an entire helicopter. However, this has not yet been confirmed so it is best to take it with a grain of salt.
Black Widow is set to be the first MCU movie in 2020. Although there haven't been any real updates about the film just yet, it could be one of the highlights from Marvel Studios at D23 Expo 2019. Will the first trailer for Black Widow finally be released? We'll find out soon enough.
Black Widow is scheduled for release on May 1, 2020.
