New Avengers: Infinity War Image Shows The Battle-Ready Team in Wakanda

Avengers: Infinity War is one month and 20-plus days away but we all wish it was showing right now. Well, that might not be true since falling in line will be hell and the traffic will be even worse but there's no doubt that everyone is excited about the third Avengers film. Marvel has decided to keep teasing fans by releasing a new image of our heroes, as they get ready for one hell of a battle.

Released by Total Film (via sister publication Games Radar), the new image has Black Panther, Captain America/Nomad, Black Widow, Winter Soldier, Okoye, and Wakanda's soldiers standing dramatically, as they wait for Thanos' forces to attack. Characters like Falcon, Hulk, and War Machine are nowhere to be seen, though the trailer has confirmed that they will be in the battle.

The Avengers have faced hordes like this before, from the Chitauri in the group's first outing and Ultron's drones during Age of Ultron. However, they've never encountered odds as large as this and it should be one hell of a test for the group.

No wonder why Rampage moved release dates.

Avengers: Infinity War comes out on April 27. The unnamed Avengers 4 comes out on May 3, 2019.
