What happens when three aliens pretend to be harmless human beings on Earth? The new trailer for the animated series 3Below: Tales of Arcadia reveals that it could be hilarious, especially if they end up in Arcadia.
The trailer opens with a UFO crashing into Arcadia which quickly disguises itself as a new house. An unwitting paper boy tries to deliver the paper while the three passengers try to figure out how to deal with the visitor. The ship tells them they need to wear a disguise as "a girl, a Latino" and "a senior citizen." Needless to say, the teaser is off to a hilarious start.
It is later revealed that the three aliens are comprised of two royalties and their bodyguard. As they try to fix their ship, they meet familiar faces who have already been introduced in Trollhunters. Hopefully, this means that everyone will be working together to get the aliens back home safely.
3Below is the second installment of Guillermo del Toro's Tales of Arcadia. Not surprisingly, it features Emile Hirsh's Trollhunter as well as Charlie Saxton's Toby, who thinks meeting aliens is "awesome sauce." We can also expect to see more of Claire (Lexi Medrano), Blinky (Kelsey Grammer) and AAARRRGGHH!!! (Fred Tatasciore).
The series will feature Rogue One: A Star Wars Story's Diego Luna as Prince Krel Arikidion, Orphan Black actress Tatiana Maslany as Princess Aja Arikidion, and Parks and Recreation alumni Nick Offerman as Commander Varvatos Vex.
3Below: Tales of Arcadia will premiere on Netflix on December 21.
