MTG's Magic Game Night and Gift Pack Announced

The holiday season is coming, so if you're planning to give a gift to your friends who play Magic: The Gathering or friends who want to learn Magic, Wizards of the Coast has a couple of new Magic products for you and it will be released this coming November.

Today, Wizards of the Coast announcedMagic Game Night, a ready-to-play introductory multiplayer Magic experience in a way similar to Planeswalker Deck and they include five constructed decks —one of each color—and other accessories you need to start playing such as spindown life counters, life counter platforms, +1/+1 counters, and five reference cards.

Each deck also includes an exclusive card that's not legal in Standard but you can use in Commander format. They all have abilities that count the number of your opponents. Check them out:

This looks like a perfect package to bring at a party full of people who want to learn Magic. You can check the full decklists here.

Wizards of the Coast also revealed the details for this holiday season's Magic Gift Pack. It will contain four Core Set 2019 boosters, a Spindown die, five premium lands, and, for the first time, five creature cards exclusive to the Gift Pack.

The five cards are considered part of Core Set 2019 for legality and rotation purposes so they will be Standadrd legal. Check out those cards below:

Magic Game Night will be available on November 16, 2018. Its MSRP price is $39.99 (in the United States and Canada).
