GOTG’s Vin Diesel Said to be Eyed for Inhuman King Black Bolt in Ms. Marvel

Disney+ is aiming to make a Ms. Marvel series centered on Kamala Khan, and rumor has it that the show will feature a revamped Inhuman Royal Family. As it turns out, some MCU vets are being eyed for specific roles.

According to The GWW, Vin Diesel is currently being eyed for the role of Black Bolt, the king of the Inhumans. Diesel is probably best known in the MCU for being the voice of Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy, but I think it would be great to have him cast as the ever-silent Black Bolt.

What's more, the same site is saying that the series is looking at Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Quicksilver from Age of Ultron, to play the role of Maximus.

Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but having the Inhuman Royal Family appear makes sense for the series, seeing that Kamala herself is of their breed. If anything, fans are hoping that the Inhumans don't play a too major part, seeing that this is still Kamala's story. At best, they should feature prominently for only one episode, but that's just my opinion.

Going back to casting though, I think Diesel being Black Bolt makes a lot of sense, but I would have someone else other than Taylor-Johnson play Maximus. I mean, if they want to give him an MCU comeback, they should let him reprise Pietro in the upcoming WandaVision series. I'm sure Wanda Maximoff would want to bring her dead brother back beside her robot lover.

No release date has been set for Ms. Marvel, but WandaVision is set to come out in the spring of 2021. Disney+ launches on Nov. 12.
