When the cast of Suicide Squad seemingly teased the movie's release at SXSW last week, they tweeted photos of their respective character's custom tattoo designs. As we expected, a Harley Quinn tattoo parlor had indeed been set up at the event where excited fans lined up to get actual tattoos of their favorite Suicide Squad characters.

Apparently, most requested tattoo designs are from four characters – Harley Quinn, Joker, Enchantress and Killer Croc.

Check out other Suicide Squad characters' tattoo designs below:

Marcy Davis of Affinity Tattoo and Piercing (transformed into the Harley Quinn Tattoo Parlor for SXSW) told Cinema Blend:

Of course Harley Quinn is huge, and Joker. Other than Harley Quinn and Joker, I think Enchantress and Killer Croc have been killing it!

If you're wondering whether the tattoos are temporary or permanent, well it's the latter for most fans. Temporary tattoos were an option, but most decided to get permanently inked since it's hard to pass up the free opportunity.

Davis elaborated:

We do 18 a day, for the permanent tattoos. All throughout the day we've been doing temporary tattoos as well – so you can get the exact same thing temporarily on you.

She added that people actually lined up hours before the tattoo shop opened just to get inked.

The number of people who lined up to get their own Suicide Squad tattoos at SXSW is not a sure indication of the film's success itself. But with these kinds of fans devoted to their favorite characters, I've no doubt many people will also line up to see the movie. Of all the designs, I like Harley Quinn and Enchantress the best. Although I don't think I'm ready to have them permanently inked.

Suicide Squad stars Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), Will Smith (Deadshot), Karen Fukuhara (Katana), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Jared Leto (The Joker), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Adam Beach (Slipknot), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jay Hernandez (El Diablo), and Ben Affleck (Batman).

The movie is slated for release on August 5.
