Michael Fassbender’s David Channels Ozymandias In Prologue For Alien: Covenant

May's almost here, which means that we're getting closer to the release of Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant. To celebrate Alien Day, 20th Century Fox has released the prologue for the movie, and it delvs into what happened with Elizabeth Shaw and David after the evens of Prometheus.

So far, this is the most that we've seen of Shaw in the trailers, so I'm curious as to how she'll be utilized in Covenant. What I really want to delve into is David's character and how he seemingly wants to cause chaos — both to the humans in his expedition and the Engineers as well. I'm pretty excited!

Here's the synopsis:

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, members (Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup) of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think to be an uncharted paradise. While there, they meet David (Michael Fassbender), the synthetic survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. The mysterious world soon turns dark and dangerous when a hostile alien life-form forces the crew into a deadly fight for survival.

Alien: Covenant comes out May 19.
