Meet Bad Ape in The New War For The Planet of The Apes Clip and Poster

A new clip from War of The Planet of The Apes has been released, and it introduces us to "Bad Ape", who's played by Steve Zahn. He's an ape that Caesar and his group found, and in the footage, we learn that he's been living on his own, away from the tribe since escaping from a zoo. "Bad Ape" tells Caesar about a new threat to all apekind. We'll probably see this scene early in the film, and "Bad Ape" will probably lead the way to where they will find their enemies.

War For the Planet of the Apes is the third film of the rebooted Planet of the Apes franchise. Andy Serkis will reprise his role as Caesar, and the rest of the cast includes Woody Harrelson (Hunger Games), Karin Konoval (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), and Terry Notary (Kong: Skull Island).

War For the Planet of The Apes opens in U.S. theaters on July 14, 2017.
